I thought I might re-bump this. Same question as above. Who's used jspec?
Their website is nice and decent for checking out prices for sold cars etc, however I think I would be more comfortable going with someone like IronChef

hey mate

im getting my chaser imprted through jspec at the moment

you can usually tell which cars have been clocked on the kms

if you see a car which has a * next to the kms it means the dash has been changed

jspec site is great to use because you can view all the cars

honestly mate realistically every company has access to the same cars

ben at jspec just sends one of his friends to look at a car for you and he tells you what he thinks of the condition

look in my build thread and compare the condition of the car in the auction photos to the after auction photos

in all honesty just talk to the importers and see which one you like best

they all are doing the same job, there just guys you pay to look for a car for you, inspect it and bid on it, simple as that

I went through J-Spec and I have no complaints. They did a good job and were always helpful with my questions. They generally respond pretty quickly to inquiries. Just take your time and find a car that suits you and you'll be happy. They will help make the import process quite smooth.

I went through J-Spec in the old days when i imported my 32 udner the 15 year old rule. It was much cheaper than the others going around and they were very good communications
