Far out, I can barely deal with 1-2 degree's on a cold winters night, let alone -29.

I don't know what's worse, -29 or +45 here.

I guess, if it's cold you can turn the heater on and dress warmer. When it's hot though, there's only so much you can take off. And, when it's +45 and your aircon is working flat out you're lucky to get the house/car 10deg cooler so it's still +35. I grew up in a cold climate (until I was 7) and I have to say I think cold is easier to deal with than heat IMHO.

Yes, push the climate control temperature adjustment wheel inwards instead of turning it.
