So I've been looking into brake upgrades, and I keep seeing the supra conversion over and over again.
I also saw mentiond some where that the Calipers off a Celsour are virtually identical.
So I trolled Import Monster. (cause it easier than Yahoo but still the same)
And what did I find..

BARGAINS..
I see JZA80 caliper here for upwards of $800
I found a set of ufc21 calipers for "Buy it now" price of roughly $69..

Also found numerous set of ufc30 caliper and disks.. FULL SET front and rears for under $400 for every set I saw. And these are MONOBLOCK radial mount..

heres some links. :)

How about some Some endless 6 piston calipers and 2 piece 344mm disks... Curretly $140. LOL

yea i wondered if celcior brakes would fit easy
i think the aristo guys need to use a rca to be able to use ufc calipers
but if someone is willing to buy some and try fitting them then its a good option
but untill i see them fitted to a jzx and know what involved i wont be buyin some

Aristos came with 4 pistons on some models. Which look the same as supra celsour calipers.. So wouldn't think they'd need the RCA.
The ucf20 caliper are the same fitting wise as the supra.. And the RCA is needed for the supra upgrad anyway isn't it.?

I've sent Streeter a measage about gettin me a full set of the UCF30 rotors and calipers. Hope he gets them for me :)
Will be all custom bracketry for those though as they're radial mount. But Soooo much cheaper than other options. And still all factory WIN.

I think our only concern is whether they can take the offset nuts like the ones for the supra brakes, or would we need brackets?

If TRD or supra brakes you need min 65mm of rim clearance to work.

Big dish + 4 pot = Fail. Need 20 mm spacers for mine, also will need to go 225 tire with camber and wide lipped gaurds.

Well I've won a set of front and rear UCF30 brakes..
When they arrive I will endevour to have brackets fabricated to mount them, and the calipers are RADIAL mounted and completely different style to normal supra calipers.
I'm mates with a CNC machinest. so with some luck (and spare time) I should be able to prototype and reproduce brackets for anyone interested..
Will let you know how I go.. will be a good while till I have any news though. waiting for shipping, then finding time to get everything sorted. Should be a lengthy wait unfortunatly. :(

How much did you end up paying for the calipers?

Also when you do get some brackets fabricated I would be heaps interested!! Let us know prices and the money will come soon after!

Front and rear caliperes and disks was $366 Buy it now.
Still waiting on Streeter to get me a finall total for shipping. But it should be around 400.
So under $800 landed..
