Some of you guy know that i own a Chaser since around two years. Its the ex D1 Chaser of Mr. Koguchi.

The car is very used and make problems all the time. I tried to sale the car, but nobody want to buy it... so i decide to build a new Chaser.


Few months ago a friend of mine bought a Chaser of a us-army guy who is based in germany. The engine was broken and my friend (he own Supra's, Aristo, Soarer...) want to fit another engine in the car.

Few day's ago I bought this Chaser, the car is still w/o engine.

My plan is now to swap the axle's, diff, engine etc.


VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: for you guys where are friends in facebook with me, please dont talk about @ fb, cause nowbody knows of this project ;-)

The project progresses ... i got a workshop (at a farm lol)

today i parked my d1 chaser there. tomorrow the other chassis will follow.

I fitted the 10x18 inch wheel with 15mm offset. I want to fit 9x17 wheels for next season, so it will me around 2mm more at outside as yet.

gr8 idea mate but i dont understand y u wud put the running gear out of the one that breaks all the time into another chaser?? isnt it still going to break in that chaser or are u rebuilding everything before it goes in?

the drifty is very used and have some electrical problems, the chassis is in not very good condition and i had three options:

- full rebiuld with lot new parts
- sale
- new chassis

....with a new chassis i can save lot money, because i have lot parts twice, and old/broken parts i dont need to buy new.
