I'm sure plenty already know how to get to their ECU physically and I had a look on the forums but couldn't find a write up. So for anyone who might be new to Chasers, figure this would help.

Here's a diagram which shows basically where the ECU is located (note the boxes showing aren't the ECU , purely to show location):

original source (thanks Shuto)

Now with this in mind lets get cracking with the glove compartment:
Posted Image

You want to remove these two panels (underneath the glove compartment 4 clips that need to be removed + screws)
Posted Image

Inside the glove compartment on the top far right and far left you'll have screws to remove - also you'll notice the little extended section on far right which is closer to the stereo - pop the circular cover and remove the screw then your glove compartment is ready to come out.
Posted Image

should be able to see the black air duct - that leads under the seat venting to the rear

close up:

with a bit of push and shove you should be able to remove the air duct:
Posted Image

pretty cool design I thought lol..
Posted Image

so now all this is out:
Posted Image

Posted Image

should have these bits, the bracket is from the ECU:
Posted Image

yay we have ECU:

If you have a multimeter then it would be much more accurate (which I realized when I saw the loom, thought hmmm I really don't want to f**k this up hah)

I'll finish up with detailing how to wire in the Neo , quite simple - only a few wires.. reference diagram from Apexi:
