I would also suggest some aluminium heat shielding around your brake and clutch fluid reservoirs. A few minutes of spirited driving can have these items near to melting point. Maybe less of an issue once your turbo bag is on, and also if your manifold has a hi-temp coating.

Hmm i have considered ceramic coating for them but i am still unsure of its effectiveness, id be keen to try it though. Thats a good point about the fluid reservoirs i might do something about that, i am hoping the turbo bag can reduce the risk somewhat. Thanks for the suggestions Ghost, if there is anything that looks like it needs improving feel free to post up as i am open to suggestions.
Cheers,

shouldnt the oil drain hose be facing downwards... because the only thing that lets the oil drain out is good ol' gravity... having it how u have it means seals can go very quickly and bearings...

Finished product looks good :D

Just wondering, is it possible to mount the turbo so the compressor outlet points away from the engine, not right at it?

Like you could rotate the compressor housing so the outlet is at the bottom, and it points straight at the hole in the RHS guard so it dosent end up with that big u-turn in the piping above the engine.

Is that do-able or not, because I reckon it would make the piping to the cooler a lot shorter and straighter and give better throttle response.

Just thinking out loud so don't flame me if its stupid :)

Definately not a stupid question... you have no idea how hard i tried to make it point anywhere but the engine!!! in the end i gave up. i would need to bring the turbo either closer to the head or furthur forward to be able to achieve this but the headers were already made by the time i had actually thought about it. The other option is to point the outlet down so that it travels down past the radiator (vertically) and then around to the front mount. Needless to say it is quite do-able.

Looks the goods mate! :)

On a slightly unrelated note, is that a Supra steering wheel? With the tiptronic buttons?

hehehehe :) shhhh...
Yeah it was part of the gt30r conversion - i didnt like the chaser wheel, the supra one went straight on and the airbag plugs in too!! i might wire those tiptronic buttons up to someing useful in the near future... maybe nos?

Edit: Its actually a much better wheel when it comes to driving, it has a better feel to it.
