Hey guys,

Being on uni holidays without a job and girlfriend overseas for 7 months, I'm bored out of my mind so thought I'd finally make a build thread to kill some time.

First off, I'm Adam, before I got my Chaser, I was driving a KE70 with a 4AGE. I bought it completely standard from an old dude for $500 and changed almost everything in the car. It looked like below before I sold it. My build thread for it can be found on rollaclub.



Now onto my current ride, the Chaser.

I also bought this car completely stock. It didn't even have a lip kit or a working turbo. I bought it from Carizma and I'm the first owner in Australia. It's a series 1 98 model, factory manual. It was fairly clean when I checked it out and knew there was something wrong with the turbo, but thought it wasn't serious so I bought it anyway..







First mod to it were the smoked indicators and then I bought HKS coilovers off whiterolla for a cheap price. A shock was busted and had a seized collar.







Above are pictures of it slammed and with AVS Model 5s 17x9 +19 installed all round. It was only a trial fit and run.





Above are trial fitted 19x10 +35 Garsons. Never ran on them as one tyre was flat.

The next mods were a replacement turbo off snoopz and a HPI front/dump pipe also off snoopz. I purchased a Blitz fmic which popped up for sale at a good price.

Next mod was taxed off my brother. These came off his Soarer. They're 17s and have weak offsets but look better than standard wheels.

I was starting to get sick of the no lip kit look and decided to purchase a kit of some sort. I was thinking to get a BN Sports kit and go all out with my ride seeing that I didn't have the factory kit already, but some convincing from my brother and mates, I decided to just stuck to the factory kit so I then purchased one from Japan.











I then not long after took the wing off my car.











The next mod I wanted done was an exhaust to finish off the basic mods, so I ended up buying a TRD exhaust and then not long after bought a K&N panel filter.









It looked like above 2 days ago before I raised it a bit because AFP pulled me up and.. yeah I don't wanna lose my licence. It looks like ass now, 4x4 spec

Anyway.. I think I've posted enough pictures

Car looks banging compared to first time I saw it, I just remebered I never got back to you in regards to my wheel specs.

hhaha adam finaly made one.
shit thing about the hks coilys is that they just dont go low enough.
i wanna go lower on mine but its nearly maxed out =[
gotta catch up again one day man ,maybe go out driving

Haha yeah, was bored and thought I might as well make one. Like you said in your build thread, it's good to look back on and use as a diary.

My coilovers go low enough for me, but I don't think they're made for the Chaser? I don't know, the front strut tops seem to be modified and redrilled to suit. Either way, they fit and work for the time being. I wanna change them eventually though, they knock pretty bad.

Definitely need to go for a drive again, but comparing this to the the KE70.. I think I preferred the KE to 'drive'


And thanks for the comments guys. I need to ride low to pull off the 17s on a Chaser. Without the ride height (like it is currently) it looks like ass.. I think I'm gonna put it back down this weekend and just watch where I drive even MORE carefully.

Anyone know whether AFP can pull you up? lol I thought it was fairly random for them to do so and they gave me a fine Yet to see it in the mail.
