[Chasersaurus]

Hello All,

My name it Tim and I am a closet fisherman. I originally started out with an MX83 Cressida Grande 91' and I merely upgraded from there. Bit slow with posting my car, but here it is none the less.

Its a Toyota Chaser S1 '98 auto (till I have more funds). I bought the car off a private importer for a dirt cheap $12,250!

In June 2009 I was rear ended by an old fart driving a Subaru Outback. Insured with Just Car and they are seriously useless, they weren't able to source shit for parts, ended up doing it myself. Finally getting fixed this Thursday! Rage! Sorry just had to put it out there. Anyone else have any issues like this with Just Car?? Thought they were import specialists?!

The car came with these mods:

- RSR Lowering springs
- RSR catback exhaust (stupidly large muffler)
- Smoked LED tail lights
- 17" BBS RGR's
- JDM Arena VIP Horn (sounds like a train)
- OEM HID's ripped out (left the housing full of condensation from inside, courtesy of whoever did compliance at Import Monster)
- Turbo Timer

Since I have had it (December 2008) I have put on:

- HKS SSQV III
- Hybrid type RS Intercooler
- S/H OEM HID's
- 18" BBS LM (Gold) 18x8.5 +38 18x9 +45
- S/H Clear corner winkers
- Odyssey PC680 AGM battery (relocated to the boot)
- Saber boost Gauge (In a dual pod A-pillar)
- Saber Oil Temp Gauge (not connected)
- replaced the compliance side indicators
- HID 6000k foggies (did the ovaxitd Smash and shake method to get yellow crap out)
- Cusco lower front member brace
- Cusco front strut brace (with the brake master cylinder thing)
- Cusco rear strut brace
- K&N Apollo enclosed air filter
- ETCS canceller

Hey man,

Clean looking, love the wheel choice!

Did you have to do much cutting to fit that front mount?

I'm trying to find something that doesn't involve chopping too much shit out of the front end.......

Thx, The front mount didnt involve and excessive amount of chopping. I had to take out the front bar all together though, there are better coolers out there where you don't have to remove the front bar. As for the bumper there was some sanding back in certain areas.

I can take some photos of it when i get the car back from repairs. Bastards told me it would take 2 days, but now they are taking it for the weekend.
