ahh, didn't cut anything on the intake manifold, just welded the 2J lower section to the plenum. The plenum came with a dodgey adapter plate to allow it to be bolted to the lower 2J runners, we though that was a bad idea so I welded the two together instead. No gaskets to leak or bolts to come loose.

more than 6boost charges, I've got a full time job and I use Josh's car as a platform to experiment on before doing stuff to my own cars....

got the BOV fitted today, notched some 2" tube to plumb it back into the side of the intake

The BOV also acts as the turbo intake pipe support :P

took this for it's initial road tune today, went quite nicely using a toned down version of the sub-100kpa ignition map from my 2J. Starts making positive pressure at 3000rpm with 30% throttle, starts to kick properly at 4000 with 30-40%. Made some full-scale changes to the 100kpa/3000rpm+ section of the fuel map and we'll take it for a proper drive tomorrow.

I spent a couple of mornings and nights last week dialing in the cold, warm and hot starts in the adaptronic, also put a fair bit of work into the injector deatime table for the sard 800's. I must say the injector dynamic 725's are much nicer to tune with at low pulsewidths.

ahhh Sards eh? I assumed Josh would've gotten ID's too - btw EFI Performance also said the exact thing, that getting the ID's was worth it. They've mentioned 0 issues in terms of fuel concerns.

needs moar video though !! also when is the dyno run ??
