ok,

been a lurker here for a while....

used to own and drive a fairly well built AE86 drift car, but it became very very track only, so i swapped it for some mildly modded 90 goodness..

straight swapped.

i needed aircon and registration back in my life....

the car when i bought it was essentially stock bodied lx90 ( deisel ) that was converted to manual jzx90 running gear by a previous owner....

had a china t04, unknown intercooler, crappy flogged mismatched coilovers and a welded torsen diff. car ran a stock ecu with a few piggyback shitbox controlers not to my liking either.

black roof was not my style, and after hitting a wall at bathurst in march last year (crappy fcd cut out and i hit fuel cut in third gear on the pit straight of mt panorama mid fishtail) and needing a full rad support chop, it went to plain white.... needless to say, all the electronics went in the bin and a full adaptronic ecu plus 1zz coil package was installed..

it looked like this for a long time.....



best thing about the car is its ability to do this......

along the way, the coilovers have been upgraded to new HSD items, as well as the china turbo spitting its guts...

new turbo setup looks like...


garret gt 3582r with 0.63 housing...

car has been setup for maximum reliability over high HP and make 330-350 rwhp on 15psi....

after 9-10 months of drift abuse, it was loking shabby, and i recently had a decent contact with an s-14 on the front drivers corner..

seeing as i needed a new headlight, guard, parklight, front bar and bonnet, i decided a makeover was in order...

the old 10 spoke g-max wheels were swapped for ROTA p-45's, 17 x 9 +25. i have utilised 25mm spcers front and 20mm rear, so all guards needed flaring as well.
repainted and some side skirts were added, and i modded a s-14 front bar to fit, the whole thing now looks like....

sooooo, ive come to realise my cars not cool enough here, being a lowly 90 and all......

but,, over the weekend discovered a horrible knock..... bit the bullet and entire engine box combo came out sunday.....

turns out somewhere along the line, i eaither didnt top up oil, or its burnt a shitload, diagnosis, spun bearings in number 1...
not wanting to stuff around, have sourced a fresh 2j auto, converting across, things should be running by the end of this weekend...
