I put up a thread to get this center console lid - and following Gino's advice, it was actually just hacked on to the standard trim.
off it goes.

Posted Image

was meant to spray the calipers and get rid of the nasty rust but only got this far, til I realized I didn't have the right sized socket to fit the supplied locking nut. >< fail
so nasty rust still there and god those covers were annoying to take off..

Posted Image

realized I was given my standard mirrors too =), I like these better than the rather plain ones on so will replace these soon and the filthy old mats..
Posted Image

useless cleaning but I had to do 'something' lol - then vacuumed car and back upstairs :
Posted Image

*edit* - just got Jesse to order these =D
Posted Image

car is booked in for an epic detail session by this fella - detail will include neutral ph solution wash, clay bar treatment, wash again, cut (depending how much is deemed appropriate, on inspection was told would be light) then seal it - also the engine bay, wheel arches and I'll try and join in to help do the rear underbody section near differential.

will pick up engine oi/filter this week - HPR 10 and get the filter from Toyota.

Thanks for viewing -
R

Minor update:

Will be getting fluids replaced (as I have no time/tools myself) -
Carpet mats are here (277$ later bah)
Will have window tints organized in a few hours from now (equalize the 4 door windows and keep rear screen the nice limo tint)
I really gotta work out something with the exhaust (too droney for my liking)

Looking at turbo options, having not done this before - somewhat quite fussy about what I should get.. tbh a high flow suits my needs (and yes I don't track it or thrash the feck outta it but no reason I can't enjoy it - so bite me)
Will be meeting up with Vish for a cruise with another forum (we'll be the only 2 Chasers there :))

Ditched the detail idea as I really want the S2 bar on (can pass on S1 to new owner then too)

some random shots:

Posted Image
(notice the lil dings >< )

Posted Image
you're wondering eh ?? - I actually waxed the door jams (thats how bored I was yes)

Posted Image
tried to get an offset angle lol - thats all I could manage

Posted Image
OCD ?

oh and someone hurry up and sell me a torsen diff already farkkkkkkk

Cheers

Those Microfiber towels are great until you get dirt/sand in them and no matter what you do it wont come out.
You have a nice selection of cleaning products, be a great housewife :)

Todays lil mission:

Posted Image

Posted Image
using Sonax Wheel cleaner:

Posted Image
the best I could do with the products I have, needs more gurney + stronger degreaser I believe -

I know it can be done, eg.

Posted Image
from that

Posted Image
to this ...

Posted Image
just some more tidying up - that rust was annoying to look at >< ..

Posted Image
just gotta clean up the wheel a little more and give the wheel arches the same loving the Aristo had:

Posted Image

been advised this product will help clean up the wheels further... will order in and demonstrate eventually.

and yes I am a clean freak :)

Finally got it registered today :D and some more cleaning up, almost there.. (that wheel cleaner has been sent)

now to get a place to do my S2 bar + remove spoiler and rear dings hmm - in one of the engine bay pictures, you can see that I removed the rubber seal near the wipers (copied Dimi!) - I agree that this bay could do with more venting :) so that should help let some heat out..

yes yes it will get dirty again - but for the moment that picture is taken and for whatever little time after that it remains clean = priceless :P
