Hey guys, just wondering if any of your JZX100's came with speakers in the shelf?

If so, I can maybe look for a shelf panel that already has the grills to keep the factory look. That way I can maybe drill or cut some holes to let the bass into the cabin (dodgy I know but no one will check there since its behind the boot trim)

I know some models came with a sub but did any come with speakers in the shelf as well?

I have to really up the gain and bass eq on the amp to get my IDMAX12 to get any bass through the cabin, the sub makes my ears ring in a Civic with rear speakers removed using moderate gain settings

my car has no speakers in rear shelf.

same, mine just has holes there from the air purifier i pulled out

I think there was a premium audio package as a factory option, these are the only cars that came with parcel shelf speakers.

The premium package did not contain parcel shelf speakers. just front splits, rear coaxials and an 8" sub in the parcel shelf.

I had a closer look and I could see there were pre-cuts for the sub AND 2 speakers on the sides, they have that really solid white filler that's throughout the car.

Looks to be a real mission to get that stuff off but I'll have a go and see what happens
