$300 euro from eBay and depending on how long you want to wait for it to come from Japan, postage is from $30 to $100 euro. Cost me $490 AUD all up and took 6 days.

Haven't updated in a while as not much has happened lately due to getting engaged and going on holiday next week, so funds are tight.
Dummy fitted turbo and manifold on a mates engine so i can get all the lines made up. I will buy the rest of the parts needed to install single when i'm on holiday so i get a nice suprise when i get back home.

Also made up a bracket to mount my genuine SARD fuel reg to the throttle body and should have this installed by the weekend.

So I got the whole of next week off and thats when the single is going on. Have everything i need bar flexi joint for exhaust and gate flanges which i'll have on Monday. I'm going to tack up the dump and front pipe myself but will drop it in at Briffa Engineering to have it TIG welded up all neat. I'll be wrapping these up hence i went for mild steel instead of staino.

Also got Mick to strengthen up the turbo manifold so it should last longer.

Turbosmart Hypergate 45mm rocked up Monday from Portugal. Got his brand new in box for $300AUD which i was stoked with as the cheapest over here is around $700.

Can't wait to crack gate for the first time but will only be running spring pressure of 7psi until i get pump and injectors.

Then a couple on minutes later someone suggested it might be a fake at that price. Looked at gate a bit more closely and found out it was a fake due to two main things.
1: There is supposed to be the Turbosmart "T" on this face You can just make out a little square where it should be.

2: The valve is bent so the seat wont go in properly and opens the gate a bit so it is just going to let the gases bypass it making it useless

Will be sending it back for a full refund and buying one from Autopro or MTQ
