[Cuts]

seems the twin turbo air boxes are slightly different to the vvti ones in their intake and structure slightly.
toyota must have realised that there was an issue there and made the under the headlight intake to fix this.


Although one thing i did note is there is some webbing in the vvti ones that would restrict flow to the outside half of the filter, ive gone to town with a die ginder on it and fucked off the bits of webbing i deemed restrictive.

The resonator box is build into the airbox you can see if when you pull the maf out and look in there, i plan on getting some pvc pipe and putting in the hole so it meets with the funnel from the airbox to the maf neatly.

But as you can see all you need to do is connect the ram tube into the hole on the box.

Nice guide, how much of a performance increase would this realistically give my 100, considering its got cai. Surely not 13kw

none how will it change anythin a 100 already has intake under the headlight,
my 100 is makin 311rwkw with std airbox intakes , only 4inch off the back of it to the turbo
and there was less than 2kw difference with air filter/without box open or closed

less than 2kw difference on a stand still dyno? which in effect could bring it up to 5+ at higher than stand still speed

I think my mod has made a difference and theres still more to do mine

just stating facts
when the bottle neck on the std airbox would be the outlet where afm goes not the intake side of things
but if you want to cut it up like that and have cops pick on it is the main reason i dont like it
