Thought it's probably time i introduced myself.
My name is shawn based in Sydney
Drove a pretty crazy 33 for the past 5 years but sold it last may in need of something different
I picked up my chaser at the start of december after waiting 3 months to get it ( I was overseas and agreed to purchase it back in Aug
Purchased of Mitch excellent bloke would have to say the best person I've ever dealt with when purchasing a car.
Picked it up from queensland on a sunday drove it straight home was a fantastic drive
Since picking up the car first thing on the list
day 1: was some dish so new (2nd hand) wheels from japan straight on to it. love em
day 2: Stereo work head unit and dvd and front splits
day 3: Amps and subs
Couple of days later in to the shop for the subs to be fibreglassed in was the only job I didn't really want to do my self much simpliar just to drop off and get done.
Been away for a couple of weeks done probs about 3000km's in the month I've had it for and it hasn't missed a beat.
Finished the stereo a couple of days ago still needed to fit the rear splits, it sounds fantastic now
So thats were I'm at so far my new boost gauge is waiting for me to pick up from the post office will be doing this today, fitting tomorrow into a pillar mount (nice and tidy)
Plans for the future
Upgrade brakes - rda slotted rotors front and new pads all round
Replace turbo timer just seems a bit wierd prefere the apexi ones
Replace cannon with twin 3" tips and modifed bar exhaust hole
Blitz front mount
SAFC 2 or powerfc
good dyno tune
and she should be all sweet
maybe way down the track upgraded turbo, pump and injectors but it really is meant to be a nice cruiser although the 300kw mark is tempting since the motor doesn't need to be opened to get it.
I'm a very keen cruiser so I look forward to coming at and meeting up with some fellow jzx fans and getting to know you all
Take it easy
