mines black with green floormats. forgot bout the blue-ish grey ones too!

There is a white auto JZX100 at one of the dealers here in Brisbane. It says 1997 but it has S2 style interior pattern, lights, front bar, etc.

It definately has a nice black coloured vinyl compared to the grey, and the other thing I noticed that it's trim code was FN10 on the build plate. I forgot to check the build plate to confirm it was S1 or S2 however.


Now I've got FE20 as a definite S2 colour, if someone could check their S1's and S2's and see what Trim code they've got?

If this is indeed an S2 chaser then they just have the build date wrong (entirely possible seeing as it isn't stamped on the build plate) then that gives us a second trim option in FN10 which is a nice black interior.

Otherwise, if it's an S1 chaser then it will mean S1 had a black option, OR FN10 is the standard S1 grey interior and it's had its interior swapped at some point in it's life.

Okay, so I checked out the car I mentioned in the previous post. It has S2 bar, lights, interior but its a S1 chassis, so someones gone to a lot of effort to swap gear around.

As it's standing we've got interior codes as

Series 1 : FN10

Series 2 : FE20

If anyone knows of any different ones, let me know

That sounds like an extremely sketchy car to me. I mean some people get s2 lights, but a full interior swap is a little extreme.

I will have a look at my build plate tomorrow.
