Hi all. In my search for a JZX100 I'm trying to determine what (if any) interior colour variations there were from factory. People tend to be all calling their interiors grey, but some pictures I've been viewing look darker than others. I'm not sure if this is just a lighting variance in photos.

Anyway, aside from the major difference in patterns between S1 and S2, it'd be good to see if there is any interior colour variation out there. I've sat in a couple of S1's and they were definately grey, and I've sat in a single S2 and it was a slightly darker charcoal colour.

If you could post up your interior code (located on your build plate), what series your JZX100 is, a brief description of the interior colour (black, grey, charcoal etc) and if you have one, a photo.

I'd love to compile up a list once we've got some replies and add it to the specs section of the JZX100 wiki.

theres only one colour for the jzx100 zenki and kouki.

and a thread on colour codes.

Yeah there is Series 1 or 2. The colour all depends on how well the car has been looked after.

Well that certainly makes it easy doesn't it! I would have assumed Toyota would have at least have one or two colour tone variations.

I've got all the information on exterior paint colours, it's just the interior stuff I'm after. While Toyota paint colours are standard across all makes and models, their interior codes are specific to the car. For example, a series 2 Chaser should have the interior code of FE20, whereas a Camry that has FE20 will actually have a different pattern/colour interior.

Just like their late model diffs. An A01B diff on an Altezza will definately not be the same size or ratio as an A01B from a Supra, etc..

So if the Series 2 Chaser has FE20 as an interior code, what's the Series 1?

You probably already know this but is worth to say it here, There are other colour interior depending on which "level" of car you have, I mean like Tourer V, Tourer S, Grande etc...

I have the same as whiterolla.

It all depends on where the car has been kept and how it has been looked after as to the colour of carpet/seats, etc.
