170kw at .9 Bar, 3" exhaust, Emanage Ultimate, Standard Sidmount inter-heater. Will post up dyno sheet when i get home from work. I am putting the intercooler on sometime this week so i will get it retuned, hopefully a noticable increase.
The superheated intercooler was causing the knock sensor to go crazy, had to back timing off by 7 degrees in many places.

Went down to calder park on friday to the off street drags.
Best the car could manage was 14.301 @ 98.sumthing mph with very crappy reaction/60ft times all night.
Averaging about 14.4 all night worst run was a 17.00 haha stalled up to hard and just spun was just silly.
Was my first time to calder so not to bad. Will definetly head back soon!

My JZX100 AT in stock with boost up 0.9kg!
Start on 2000rpm and time 402m is 14.31! Its good time for my stock+0.9kg?

245kw at 18psi
Became relatively rich towards the top end but i will sort that out when i get a stronger wastegate spring. The SARD 530cc injectors were at 55% duty cycle so plenty of fuel left
The red line is the GT30R, the blue line was stock with a 3" exhaust.

Oh dude, I'm so keen for a big turbo after seeing that....
And I totally forgot about this thread! Ran the boat at WSID last Wednesday, best was a 14.4 @ 100mph:

Learnt a lot about burnouts and traction. First run was a small skid and a soft launch, 14.4 @ 100mph. Second run was no skid and popping the clutch at 5,000rpm, 15.8 @ 97mph with nothing even remotely resembling grip (the tail almost wandered into the other lane). Last run was a big skid and a softer launch, totally bogged down, 14.7 @ 97mph.
Oh, and the commentator thought I was a BMW....

I really don't understand all the different aspects and variables that make the difference between a fast 1/4 mile and a slow one.
In my auto JZX90 (Stock other than exhaust) i did 13.685 at ~98 mph with a 60 footer of 2.2. Other than the ET Tats numbers look pretty similar to mine. Would Tats have lost that much time just because his car is manual (ie on gear shifts)?
From what i've seen stockish jzx90's seem to be a bit faster than stockish jzx100's- is that really the case (and if so why?) or have i just not seen enough timeslips from each to make that call?

Honing in on fast 1/4 times can be somewhat of a black art, but I think the auto/manual difference is a bit like compound interest. A small time delay between first and second can equal a very big time difference at the end of the strip. There is no doubt that the Toyota auto is able to shift quicker than most cog swappers and of course there is the added ease with which an effective launch can be achieved.
I think it gets down to the fact that it takes a great deal more skill to pilot a manual equipped car down the strip at its full potential than it does its automatic equivalent.
btw I also was able to manage a 13.6 in my stock auto JZX90.
Must get around to finding out what it does now.
