Jay will know how to do the IRS conversion... thats probably why he keeps putting it off all the time
you just need to be sure your going to get the value out of paying for the conversion.

yeah ive blown my current diff centre so maze well do the conversion.
he is charging fuck all for labour really.
ooo also bought some SARD 650cc injectors cheap, so my mate had them cleaned and tested at his work and they're now ready to go for when i chase more power. I think later this year ill do dump pipe, turbo's, injectors and see what power i can get from that.

Hey,
I'm starting my lx conversion for my x90 cresta in three weeks.
Where do you normally run into problems?

hey
are you doing a 1j swap?
i hope you bought a jzx90 front cut as for me i needed almost everything off it.
-not any major issues with the swap, just obviously changing fuel lines, fuel tank etc
-um i think the pedal box, master cylinders and a few other things were different
-trans tunnel needed a small chop for shifter position.
thats all i can remember, as for the IRS rear end it still hasnt been done, very frustrating but jay has been busy getting his aristo done for supercup. Chasis needs to be chopped to do IRS which is scary, big job but i really want to get this thing handling well.
Currently it sits in my backyard, all interior stripped as im removing all the sound deadning and getting it clean for cage and IRS. Trying to get rid of some weight.
Stay tuned, soonj i should have pics of freshly painted floorpan and boot and maybe a cage.

OK
so got some motivation back for this car as i have a couple of trackdays copming up in august, goal is to have suspension sorted out before then.. I've been to BOOSTWORX to have front coilovers fitted.
now upfront it has..
-JIC Coilovers
-DBA slotted and vented rotors
-R33 Calipers
-Braided Lines
I ordered some Project Mu HC+ pads but unfortunately they didnt arrive whilst the car wasx in the workshop, so ill put those in next service before the trackday.
After my battery died on me i decided to splash out on an odessey dry cell as its a smaller battery and would allow me to finish off the intercooler piping and chop the battery tray abit. Had custom brackets and new terminals made up for it looks alright.
Also i completely stripped the car, removed all sound deadning and painted the floor pan, looks pretty good for a rattle can job but ill probably put carpet back in at some point.
Over the coming weeks im going to neaten up a few other things, New Exhaust with a muffler and ressi is on the cards to quiten it down abit and a more simple tip that wont attract so much attention. R33 GTR wheels are also on the cards but i can't find any around at the moment. Basically trying to make it a more streetable car that wont get defected but swill still do decent times at mallala.
PICS will be up soonish, this week ill get fitment pics up camber+215s and see how that goes.
Will order a Cusco LSD for rear end also.
