Hey guys.

pretty bored so thought id post some pics of my car. Posted my car a few months back when it was a stock LX80 and it got alot of hate cos it was diesel

well after buying a JZX81 half cut from japan and having a swap done it now has...

1JZ-GTE
R154 box
R33 GTR intercooler
Painted engine bay before swap.
Full 3 inch stainless exhaust with big twin tips, which i think look pretty gangstarrr
Cusco clutch (dead)
JIC coilovers
DBA slotted and vented BA falcon Rotors and R33 Calipers
The wheels on the car now are borrowed but i bought Andrews BBS rims 17X9 +20

Car is basically stock but I'm pretty happy with the power it makes. Clutch is slipping really badly after being a bit skid happy, so I'm trying to save the cash for an OS Gikin twin plate clutch. I had "buddy parts" bring the half cut in for me and do all the work and i couldn't be happier with jay and his patience with this head fuck of a conversion.

Long term plans i have for the car...

-body work - guards flared, respray (still in white) all dents/pin dents removed.
-Microtech ECU
-New intercooler piping (look at pics of current piping WTF?)
-The good disc brake rear end and LSD
-Guess i should start saving for a new turbo now for when stock ones blow.

thats about it, really love this car. It hasn't cost me all that much to build how it is now and it is probably closest ill ever get to having a street registered JZX81. here are some pictures......enjoy.

yea! you would have. He did my conversion, got my half cut. basically built the car.

on a closer inspection wheres your ABS? or wasnt it hoooked up?

i remember seeing on scotts 90 that it was a jumble of spaghetti and lines going everywhere up in the passenger corner

yea the piping is stupid hey. the car that got the chop had a kit that was about 2cm off the ground so hung lower than the pipes. i don't know how the dude drove anywhere without smashing shit up. i love the exhaust though, sounds so nice, pity even that can scrape over speed humps/spoon drains. i was gonna get the rear of this exhaust flanged up and get a more normal/generic looking exhaust that sits higher and isn't so loud, then change it over when i please.

i've spoken to Jay a few times but only in passing, i watched when his cressida pulled 420 odd RWKW's on the dyno next to Madaz. i checked your car out a bit while it was there, had a bit of a laugh when i saw the comp plate.... LX any issues with the conversion regarding regency?
