just though I would introduce myself properly. I have a pearl white 94 JZX90 Cresta.

I notice you went the SAFC + ITC tuning route- who tuned it up for you and why did you go that way instead of an emanage?

I'd imagine that turbo kit would have a lot left in it as well. Are you planning on upgrading injectors and trying for some more power?

Anthony Scali at X-Speed done the tune (he knows his shit!)

I acutally had the safc installed 2 years ago now and got the sitc about a year after that, I dont think the e-manage has been around all that long though?

I have to get a proper split dump pipe made up as the cast HKS one is still restrictive to get some more hp, though unfortunately when I had the tranny rebuilt it did not include extra clutch plates or a kevlar band so I'm aiming for around 350rwhp which is the limit of the 440cc injectors and the tranny, should be able to achieve that with some 256 HKS cams and the dump pipe together with a bit more boost...

I've heard good things about Ant Scali and x-speed although i haven't had any work done there yet. I've been pondering tuning options for a while and thought you might have had a specific reason for not going for the emanage (i've heard that it can be hard to get both the ignition and fuel tuned together). But i suppose if you already had the SAFC and ITC then there wouldn't be that much point in changing to the emanage :)

The T3G kit is made up of two GT25/30's isn't it? So each turbo is rated at about 320 hp? How do you find the response in comparison to the stockers and with an auto tranny? I've heard these kits have excellent response but i've always wondered about it given that the combined flow of the two turbos is over 600hp!

The HKS T3G turbos are equivalent to having two HKS GT2510's i believe? Though can only put out 500hp when pushed very hard (eg: 1.5-2.0bar boost)

For a plain bearing turbo they go hard, nothing under 3000rpm though between 4-6000rpm it pulls very hard like a train! :)

Hello All

After almost a year of no mods the bug has bitten me hard again.

Ive got sitting at home some HKS 262 Intake & Exhuast cams, hopefully fitted in the next fortnight by Cypher Industries...

On order from japan is a 4.11 final drive from a JZX90 Tourer S. And hopefully this week I will be getting a 2800rpm hi-stall and custom one piece tailshaft.

I will post up dyno results etc when it all comes together :P

I want to eventually get a bodykit (traum or vertex) and should have enough credentials for a full HPI feature perhaps?

What about you GHOST? Your Mark II is definitely feature worthy!

KP- I'm new on this site- what system are you using to tune with? Where did you source the rear end and converter at? I almost feel bad asking you these questions, as I live in Japan. But not many go for the JZX drive mods. I'm running a JZX 90 Cresta here. Still bone stock with the exception of boost and exhaust.

I definitely like the Vertrex kit on the Cresta.
