seems like the 1JZ-GTE VVTi is using the same plugs as the 6A13TT..
currently I am using BKR7EIX and i've done 20k kms and starting to miss, maybe due to my hard pipe as I've recently changed it..
alot of ozvr4 guys are not using IK22 which I've sold to them.. so far they've been happy with it.. my tuner, he is using it myself and has lasted at least 20k kms where as his BKR7EIX only had lasted him for 5k kms
Im yet to try out VK22 on my car and supposedly that should last me for 100k kms.

lol.. I dont usually.. I listen to my dad - he's an old school mech and also research helps alot..
BKR is also used on Porsch Cayenne, but they use the BKR6QUP which has the quad ground electrodes.. not sure if its Platinum or Iridium though

Can anyone help me out here? Since getting the car, I've completed an oil/oil filter change as well as replacing the spark plugs to the recommended BKR7E-11 (BPU modified). There seems to be a small miss-fire issue with the car in the higher rev range and this proved right when I had it on the dyno (bumpy graph from about 5000 onwards).
When replacing the spark plugs, the coil pack and ignition leads all seem fine except I had a leaking rocker cover seal which caused a small film of oil in 3-4-5-6 spark plug galleys. Needless to say, they plugs all had abit of oil in them. I've yet to rectify this issue admittedly but it does run fine on boost.. just doesn't love to rev out as hard.
Do you think going to BKR6E's would make much of a difference?

for 25 bucks give it a go. before you do run a bigger spark plug gap

i don't see any issues with iridiums other than the price... they are almost $20 a pop at supercheap
if anyone is interested, i have 4x bkr7eix for $50, there's only 4 because they were a left over set from my old car, still brand new in box never used. pm me
