JZX100/JZX90 owners, anyone taken out the centre vents before? If anyone has any good ideas to suggest other than using pliers to rip them out or pulling the entire dash apart id be keen to know!

ahhhhhhhh dont rip them out.
they are clipped in.. take out the centre console and stab the bottom clips with a flat head screwdriver under the airvents to unclip them.
wollar.. no vents

yeh i was trying to take them out via that way when i had the centre console out (technically is still sorta, in bits atm) but not sure if they were the right clips as i was going nowhere fast, any chance you could post a pic of ya vents u took out and the offending clips for me? 
i have a 100 so it may be diff, but id assume the vents are roughly the same

Clips If Yah having issues and dont want to break, take out the cluster surround and then put you hand behind vent and help push it out, have to use a bit of force though.

just be careful with your strength and slowly pry the clips on the top and bottom
