I'm just trying to figure out if the supra and series 2 jzx100 steering wheels will fit a series 1 100?
Or what is needed to make it fit. Im guesing the airbag plug will need modifying but apart from are they interchangeable?

Yes they will.

Pat had a supra on on his series 1 chaser
and ive seen series 2 steering wheels on series 1

not sure on airbag part sorry

Cool thanks mate airbag part will be a simple fix anyway, I think there a two different plug styles and its just a matter of swapping one over.

Can anyone confirm the airbag plug is different? I want an S2/Supra wheel too.

Hey mate I know the supra series1 and 2 are different so I can only asume toyota changed there design later on. I would think the jzx100 would use the series 2 supra going by build dates. jzx100 series 1 and 2 prob. arn't different but not 100%.

where's the best place to get a S2/Supra wheel?

Dale - maybe try yahoo auctions, probably the cheapest. you would pay through the roof buying it off a wreckers or somewhere like JMS

97.7 - 2002.8 type B

Can anyone tell me which colour wires go to which side of the plug for the airbag wiring.

Previous owner has changed the plug to suit the Momo wheel and l have now bought a TRD wheel and just want to make sure it is wired properly first time around.
