the spigot bearing is a generic bearing that can be bought from any autoone, repco or clutch place.
i forgot the number on the bearing, but if you call a clutch place and ask for the bearing used in a manual soarer, they'll tell you. it's worth about $5, if you pay more than $8 then they're ripping you off
if you buy a complete clutch kit, it will come with one.

To be more specific its called the spricket bearing that goes into the little hole in the center of the fly wheel bolts.
So you grease it up and then tap it in with a hammer.
once the gear box is bolted up the tip of the input shaft rest in it and the spriket bearing takes out the harmonic vibrations from gear shift.
I notcied that no one has mentioned it so far in here and that is worrying as you can run the box with out one but can cause sever damage to your box and distroy it very easly.
They auto spricket bearing is welded to the toruqe converter and is different too the manual one.
If you are lucky enough to have one in the back of the engine from the manual conversion they are apparently a one use item and impossible to get out.
Any way sorry if this dosent make much sence I am running on 3 hours sleep atm.
Your thoughts are appreciated......

PEOPLE!
Learn from my mistake
WHEN CONVERTING A AUTO TO MANUAL - Make sure you buy and install one of these suckers pilot bearing yeah I'm an idiot and killed a new clutch cause thrashed the car with no pilot bearing..

"So you don't have a pilot bearing installed? Have fun killing your transmission input shaft, transmission input seal, clutch disc and dealing with the associated fluid leaks... "

For series 2 cars, wires
5f79f986.jpg 56.22K
5 downloads
Bridge 9 and 6 together for ur starter (not labeled in above pic lol)
no.4 is ur 2nd gear ecu signal for whateva reason
no.3 is 12v from 15aGuage
no.2 is reverse
no.5 is neutral, (theres no 'neutral' signal on the ecu so no point powering this, will just make ur cluster light up neutral)

For Series 1.
This is to trick the auto ECU into thinking its in 2nd gear, short the solid green wire to the red/blue stripe wire on the auto's main loom plug.
