Hi guys, I'm pretty sure someone should've covered this topic here before so sorry in advance for asking this again. But I've got a video showing the sound on my chaser. The sound usually happens when accelerating uphill from low rpm range(~1500 - 3000) In the video the sound kicked in when it was accelerating from around 2000rpm at 3rd gear on an inclined surface.

After reading some old posts here, I think it could be the issue of worn ball joints or bushes. As far as I know the front right suspension is leaking as well.

Any thoughts on this issue? Any input is welcomed. Thank you in advance.

Hi Lexxy,

Thanks for your reply. May I also know under what circumstances your car made those noises at the front wheels? Was it like accelerating from a low rpm or uphill, etc?

Thank you in advance.

Hi Caesar100,

My car made those noises at the front wheels when accelerating from a low rpm or turning steering wheel left to right as you sit on the traffic jam on the freeway.

You can jack the car up a have a look at where the front lower control arm ball joint to see if there is any sight of crusty old rubber.

Cheers

Hi Lexxy,

Okay thanks for your advice. Will have it jacked up and have a look underneath. Cheers.
