I picked it up last Friday from the docks. I'm really chuffed with it apart from the muppet dock workers smashing the front bumper

Since Friday I have repaired the front bumper, changed the wheels to Work Meisters, and rolled the rear arches massively. It doesn't look like I've rolled them much, but they are really crap for clearance as standard, so I've had to actually pull them a little to get 18x9et20's with the 245/35/18's. Man that was scary attacking the arches like that on a car this expensive
I've changed the oil and filter, and had a little check over the car. Then it was destined to sit in my garage out of sight until November when I can register it without the need for ESVA (has to be 10 years old).........
However, I decided instead to take it to a little practice day, and see if it actually works.

Today I found out that two of the coilovers are blown (not suprising as they are Tein Flex the shittest coilovers ever made ) as you can see in a couple of the photo's it squats a little to much .
Other than that, there was a slight issue with a billion degree's of steering lock one way, and 2 degree's the other way (just needs the rack centering), and it didn't like my manfoot to much, and overheated a little. But overall, for it's first outing it was absolutely awesome fun, and will be an awesome daily driver for me.. Roll on November .

Looking good. I hear ya about the battleship body roll. My coils are suffering the same problem.

Has it got a diff or just the factory torsen peice of shit.

I took my car for it's first little spirited hills run last night -> I know exactly what you mean by body roll!!! The rebound from the springs kicks the rear out under the slightest throttle! (that and the fact TRC was well and truly off )

It's a plated diff of some kind. It's not harsh or noisy so I pressume it's a TRD or something. The car has blue antiroll bars fitted, which I pressume are TRD also, it's a bit weird that it rolls that much still though. Does anyone else have TRD ARB's? are they shit?
