I recently found this one vented hood I thought was pretty awesome looking. Does anybody know who makes it? Also post other vented hoods...

The vent looks a little smaller than the usual JZX vented hoods, so it could be a custom job as a lot of Japs tend to do these days.

I hope its not custom. I want it so bad. Its definitely my favorite x100 vented hood I've seen...

Normally, that style of hood starts with the vent closer to the nose of the bonnet. In addition, the vent is usually a bit wider and not as rounded.

That one looks a bit like it's been grafted onto the OEM hood and then blended in IMHO.

Then again, I could be completely wrong ;) :ninja:

BTW, where did you get the pic from originally? That might be a good place to start in trying to identify the origin of that hood.

This is a car my friend spotted in japan. He has been sending me pictures all day of JZXs he has seen. He just got there yesterday and will be there for a few weeks... I think he will be seeing more of that 100 so ill probably try and get him to get in contact with the owner. The thing I love about this hood is how stock it looks besides the vent (like you said)...
