Hello All

I just wanted to let you know that Aaron the owner of In Tune Performance done my Haltech E6X ecu last week.

He done a top job of all the wiring and that and his customer service is second to none.

He has ordered my new T04Z turbo which will hopefully be fitted all next week.

His contact number is 9434 6608

Mate i hope you are ready for Laaaaaaagggggggg city central :P . Even with a small rear housing on T04z, its still a massive turbo rated at 700hp and doesn't get efficient until around 25psi i think. You are going to need massive cams and also a rev limit of insane measures on a 1jz to get that to even keep on gate between gears. I'd be going a 3540 with a .82 rear at the most. Quote from Garrett Turbo's Australia "On a 2.6-liter RB26 with 272-degree cams, full boost can be realized maybe at 4900 rpm". I personally think the T04z is just overkill to the max.... my 2 cents

Hehehe I have been warned on the Soarer forums all ready :P

Though I am not really fussed

Eventually I will build a 1JZ on the side with aftermarket valve springs & retainers, all ready have HKS 262 intake & exhuast cams

Then perhaps 2JZ bottom end?

Though I am ready to order a 0.61 exhuast housing if the lag is too much :D

Just becareful as well, because going too much of a small rear housing can cause really bad compressor surging when coming on boost....not good for turbo and not easy to tune at all. Also 264 cams aren't really that big, it maybe stretch rev range to 7800ish rpm. Might need some 264 cams with higher lift (which HKS ones don't aren't) or even something bigger 272 perhaps....

KPCresta I'm confused.
1. Don't you have a 1.5jz that your building if so why are you discussing lag issues on a 1j?
2. I seem to remember that you had a t04z before that you sold so you could get a smaller turbo, am I right? Why are you getting another one then?

Dude that was ages ago. I stared this build about 6 weeks ago now. Engine should be in by the end of the month now!

Now going 1.5JZ I am using the extra bottom end torque to get stupid amounts of HP!
