Hey guys I live in Halifax, Nova Scotia Canada which is on the east coast. I recently purchased a February 1997 JZX100 Chaser Tourer V factory 5spd from Japan. I've waited years to be able to import a JZX100 into Canada as imported vehicles must be 15+ years old to the month of manufacture to be legal for import into Canada. Then anything goes no matter what :). I have also owned a 1993 JDM GC8A WRX for the past three and a half years which is now becoming my winter car(Lots of snow and salt here). JZX100's only became legal in September to Canada so there is only a couple others in the country I imagine. One I know of is a track only car used for drifting competitions.

My JZX100 Chaser is completely stock except for the TRD short shift kit. Bought from original owner.

Name:Sean
Location: Halifax, Nova Scotia Canada
Car: JZX100
Year: 1997
Colour: Atlantis Blue Mica
Kms: 131,000km
Current mods: TRD short shift kit
Future plans: TRD exhaust, Apexi intake. I'm keeping it clean(for a while anyways)

How you purchased your car: Through Derek @ pacificcoastjdm.com

How I found JZX forums: Google!

At this point my car is still sitting in Japan waiting to get on a boat and be shipped directly to Halifax. But my exporter took some photos for me. Here are some.

That's a nice tidy example you have there. It's actually quite refreshing to see a nice standard looking one, without any tacky add-on rubbish.

That blue would have to be the coolest colour they come in - and factory manual too! always a bonus. Are you getting the Chaser and Toyota logo badge for the boot?

Thx. I don't intend on changing any of the body at all, I think these cars look perfect with just the oem lip kit. The wheels are kinda boring but I'm not changing them either for at least this upcoming summer. Probably 17's next summer which is as big as I want to go. Not sure if I'm gonna lower it either, gotta test it as is on these roads we have here which are terrible....

As far as the rear badges, I'm honestly not sure at this point if I should just remove the tourer v badge when the vehicle arrives to clean it up or buy the Chaser badge. I want the Toyota logo for sure though as those little holes look bad.

looking sharp man. s1, 5spd

Take the Chaser/Tourer V badge off and just leave the T badge on as the T badge is the only thing with holes.

I like Canada too!

Haha Canad is alright I guess. Lots of taxes....

Ya I'm not sure what I'm gonna do with the badges yet, have to make my decision when the car arrives.
