Decided to do a small write up. Its a fairly simple process but I thought I'd document it anyway. The process I am showing is the reverse, taking blue lense out of the mirror and swapping for a clear lense... but the process is the same.
So you start with this below. Note that you don't need to take the mirror off the car it can be done with them still on. Its just a little awkward.

14 downloadsWhat you want to do first is push the top part of the lense inward to give you some space at the bottom like below.

If you have a torch you can see that there is two places where the head of the screwdriver needs to go. Don't go behind this otherwise you may end up breaking the backing plate which has the motor attached to it.

4 downloadsSo at this point I was given only a lense with no holder on the back from one of the guys. So I needed to swap the lense out. To do this, start at the TOP of the lense and push the black plastic back evenly with your thumb. Do this all the way along the top and continue to the corners. After this a gentle push from the back of the lense with pop it out.

3 downloadsNow before putting the new lense on, you want to make sure you add some form of sealant/adhesive that is flexible. Double side tape will probably wear out from the sun and water so something like sikaflex or similar will do the job. Place it on as below, I forgot a pic but you can see there is also a chanel that goes around the inside of the backplate. Chuck some in there as well.

5 downloadsNow all you need to do is the reverse process to get the lense unit back into the mirror housing.
To do this, there are two guides at the top of the lense back plate that will need to slide into the motor backplate. Followed by 4 clips that need to be pushed in. Push the clips in from top to bottom and make sure you hear the click otherwise the lense unit could fall out!
