why does the toyota plug have one wire for the speakers and the pioneer has a positive and a
negative for the speakers , do i only connect the positive ?

Posted Image

im not sure were these 3 wires go??????? .. in the owners manual it says the orange / white wire connects to lighting terminal switch ?????? the (Blue/white) wire Connect to system control terminal of the power amp-antenna relay control terminal ( max 300ma 12v DC)
and (Violet/white ) connect the one in which the voltage changes when the gear shift is in the REVERSE position

any help would be much appreciated.. i wanted to give it one more go before i give up and let someone else do it LOL

Umm ok my head is not working great this arvo so I'll try
Look here first http://www.jzx100.co...wiring-diagram/

to understand electronics think of it as water, the electricity has to "flow somewhere" so with speakers you need power from positive to the speaker then out from the speaker to the ground.

Black is mostly always ground so double check that brown wire.

The toyota plug will have 2 wires, a positive and negative for 1 speaker as explained in the link above.

The orange wire on the headunit loom plug needs to go to a wire that controls the headlights. This is to dim the headunit when you turn on your headlights at night.
Dont worry about the blue/white remote system control wire, thats for a powered antenna to make it go up and down.
Also dont worry about the reverse/purple one, its probably for a feature on the headunit you dont really need. (maybe mutes headunit when reversing or activates rear camera or something?)

u use that blue wire if ur running a aftermarket amp to tell it to turn on and/or an electric areial. the reason the toyota harness only has 1 wire for each speaker is cause it runs to a RCA plug in the stock amp, and from the stock amp it runs the + and - to each speaker
