another update.
Hks intake installed. the kit is for the x100 so i had to hack a x110 air box for the AFM.
BOV was shit too. Well... not really... i just plumbed it up wrong, but anyway, i got another tubrosmart kompact like i had on my old chaser off nick for cheap enough. works a treat now, no more hetik wog flutterz bru.
On the note of wrong plumbing for the bov, i thought it was the crimped BOV return hose, so i stuffed a plastic hose shield thingi into it to stop it from crimping. The end result came 1 day later when said plastic hose shield thingi got sucked into the turbo and blended into a bajillion pieces: see pic
Went to AJD, got no love. Came home and installed an AutoMeter Boost gague that i bought off simo 2 years ago. Mechanical and works a treat. looks purdy too.
Winny blew his engine so i scored his rocker covers and tried to wrinkle paint it red. Looks good from afar, but far from good. Also note the advantage of deleting the J-pipe; you now gain an easily accessible hot plate
went to DECA with ma bro trung, Simo and outkast TOF. ended up blowing the stock crotch, was a veryyyyyyyyyyy long day recovering the car from ~100km out from melb. props to SG for helping! also installed charlies old clutch plate as a bandaid. hope that does blow on me. *touches wood*

Nah not really, just charlies machined flywheel.
Exedy HD is the kit i got. should handle my shit driving and upto 240/250rwkw so that shall be suffice for the time being. install will be veli soon

red makes the engine/rocker the centerpiece of the enginebay (duh). initially i was going to go black but people pressured me for red. turned out ok colourwise. also gained +10jdmst points.

black and silver on a 1j will look alright i reckon... the 2j one looks shit cos its all black... its better with red cos it has silver center.. black with silver centre.. i might try it if i can be stuffed
