i've done this about 5 times now.
Remove headunit/surround, cluster, steering wheel,, coloumn surround, centre console, glove box
dont need to remove the vents, but thers a air tunnel for the right vent, take that off.
take out passenger airbag
remove all the bolts that are connected to the steel metal bar (theres one behind ashtray, and to the right of the headunit)
some on the side where the door closes too
unplug wiring harness from passenger kick panels (about 4) disconnect on drivers kick panel (about 3 or 4 aswell)
should slide out from there, if ur lucky aftermarket wiring hasn't looped around afew things

like charlie said, its really quite easy providing you loacate and remove all the right bolts, . can get teedious the first time but have patience. its also a good idea to have someone there to give you a hand when it comes to lifting out the dash.
ive seen charlie do it, guy is a pro.
