hi
last weekend i installed my aem eugo wideband gauge ,gave it its own clean chassis earth and shared acc power with my ebc .
gauge seemed to work fine all week without a sensor attached (obviously not reading afrs).
Now i have the sensor installed in the dump pipe it reads afrs fine and seems do everythign it should
except once the sensor is up to temp ,and i turn the car off it is staying on and keeping my other gauges on, and ebc flashing
on off on off. and seem like only way to turn them off is disconnect battery -
if i only start the car for a few second and turn it off they all turn off correctly.
seems only like it only stays on after sensor gets up to operating temp
also notice while driving if i give it boost the head unit seems to short out or somethin
only since installing the wideband sensor
so what did i do wrong?
could the wires goin to the sensor have touched the exhaust and shorting out?
any help appreciated
cheers ,matt

sounds like you might have pinched a/some wires during install, pull gauges/head unit out and inspect. Shorting while under boost may be from body twist, first place to look is the last thing you did.

ok i pulled out headunit , ebc ,boost gauge and aem wideband gauge, checked all conections shortened wires and neatened it all up
re soldered suspect connections ,to put it all back together and have the same problem
if i disconnect the aem gauge and sensor , when i turn off the ignition headunit , ebc and boost gauge all turn off normally
if i conect aem gauge too but not the sensor it works normally also
but if i conect the sensor to the gauge powering the sensor (once it gets to temp) if i turn off the key and remove it the aem stays on , boost gauge stays on,headunit turns off and the ebc flashes on and off
so to me it seems soemthing to do with the sensor but unsure what

its now sharing acc power with the only the clock and working normal
