Hi everyone
Just got a set of Ksport brakes for my jzx90 and having problems fitting them.
It is a front set with 8 piston calipers and 356mm discs.
The caliper brackets do not fit.
It is supposed to be the right kit for the car but I wonder if it is supra fitment by mistake.
Anyone had the same problem?
Cheers
Jon

Being a Supra fit could definitely be a possibility.

Could be the wrong kit. Also is this is brand new right? So it's the 3rd gen brakes?

Yep a new kit. I don't know about the different gens, are there any important differences?
Looks like the caliper to hub holes are supra fitment not jzx90, but the caliper brackets dont reach the calipers either, they maybe sent 330mm brackets by mistake.
So double fail.
Supplier is getting in touch with factory to check the part number but I have been warned the European factory (I'm in the UK) is not that helpful.
My mechanic is keen to machine around 5mm off the discs and then use spacers to reach the calipers.
Anyone got any experience with machining down discs, I have been warned not to go too far?
Thanks
Jon
