hi so im wondering where else could i get either a lip kit or full kit from any shop thats based in melbourne?
i've asked jesse streeter and was quoted $1200 just for a kit from jp auctions. so now im sourcing cheaper alternatives.
btw i got a series 2 so i need a lipkit that fits series 2
thx sean

One word of warning, you get what you pay for!!! A very good mate of mine has a ^^ VG ^^ sourced front bar and there is essentially a 1.5cm gap around the front of his passenger side headlight, the other side is kind of ok, and fitting (all done professionally) was an absolute bitch. He also had to get his VG skirts cut and rejoined to the right length as they were too long, like WTF? I can understand a mould shrinking or warping but growing in length, really...
Caveat emptor!

thanks for the heads up mate. will definately stay away from them, lol. however im still desperate for a kit so lets see how patient i am. im even considering downgrading to a s1 bumper+factory lip kit from my standard s2 bumper. cant stand stock.
anyone else know other sites in aus that sell kits?

yeah i already asked jesse streeter. apparently kits are too big to post and he says he has to ship by container via jdmgarage, and jdmgarage charges $500aud for a kit in their container.
so a 35,000 yen (~420aud) cost about roughly $1200aud to get here (including fees)
oh btw im a cheap bastard so no way i'll be spending $1200 for a kit

Personally, I'd be going the Japan route too...

Hey, $800 for an ill fitting POS that will most likely cost more to fit properly or a genuine article for $1200ish. I know money's money but like I said, you get what you pay for...

Enjoy your average fitting knock off kit. Once you pay someone to strengthen the whole kit and modify it to fit you will end up spending more than the jap kit.
