To get my crank bolt off, the starter kick trick didnt even work... it took 3 big guys putting their weight on a 2metre long bar for it to budge

Yeah I braced it against the chassis and kicked the starter several times and it couldn't break it.

So it turns out mechanics are pretty good when it comes to cars. Sent it to my brother's mechanic and installed everything for me for an awesome rate. He said the 1j was in great condition and that I shouldn't be afraid to 'flog the shit of it' which was good to hear. Also got an aluminium welder out to shorten my KTS pipe as it didn't really fit (probably because of the blitz radiator) and do a repair on my brothers mr2. Taking it back to him tonight to install the supra brakes. I had fun doing the work on the car myself to this point but after seeing the trouble people have had on here installing and bleeding them properly I doubt it would end well for me. Also its sort of good when things just get done and done properly! Putting on maltech braided brake lines too.

This weekend I'm going to cover the carbon fibre insert stuff like TRD JZX100 did and install some temp gauges where the head unit sits. Brothers car is now running and registered. Should be a fun weekend. Hopefully soon we can do some drivers courses and trackwork or something like that.

Washed the car and parked it under the wrong tree. One night did this.

eh couldn't be bothered really. Its brand new paint on them. Seems like a waste, doubt many people will be reading my brake calipers anyway.

Looks like the tree took a huge shit on your bonnet. Come off alright?
