So I'm currently planning my next set of upgrades for my chaser (jzx100). I'll be putting up a member ride or build thread soon.
I'll start by telling you where the car stands so far:
Pretty basic so far, chiba 3" exhaust, hid front mount and k&n pod with metal intake pipe.
Tuned with haltech ps2000 running about 14psi, made 193rwkw. Tuned at BPS in Cleveland QLD, James is a good bloke, I'd recommended him to anyone in Brisbane.
Also, a few handling mods: hks hipermax III, cusco sway bars, strut brace and 1.5 way diff. Shift kitted by Joel at JD transmissions, also in cleveland. But those arent really important for this thread.
So the next thing for me is bigger turbo, for which I have this lot on the way:
Garrett GTX3076 w/ 0.82 twin scroll exhaust housing
6boost split pulse manifold with twin 38mm turbosmart wastegates
tranny oil cooler
I already have a plazmaman bov sitting here to go on it too.
So the part I need help with is the fuel system and how much the stock 1J can handle, for now I'm not touching the cams.
I was planning on using a deatschwerks 300l/h in tank fuel pump, will this be sufficient or should I consider a surge tank?
Injectors I'm not really sure, I was looking at power enterprises 650cc or 800cc, but they are pretty spensive, are there more reasonable options? also which size should I go with?
I'll probably throw in some sort of pressure regulator too just for kicks.
Lastly how much can the stock engine handle? I found a lot of mixed information about how much boost it should be able to handle with this turbo.
Also when/if I do decide to put more boost into it, what needs to be upgraded?
That's all I can think of, if anyone else has anything else to throw in for consideration, go nuts, I want to know what you know!
Oh, actually there is one other thing, can anyone recommend a fabricator in Brisbane to get my new dump, intake and cold side piping made up for this turbo?
Cheers,
Brett

1 300l/ph intank pump would be fine and 530cc inj minimum unless your planning on running it on e85 then will need 2 pumps
and bigger inj
stock engine is strong i have a gtx3076 on 20psi making 311rwkw(with 264/264 cams too) on my jzx100
if you havent had the manifold made yet i suggest getting one made using 25nb steam pipe
as i did a back to back test on manifolds using 32nb and 25nb sized pipes and the 25nb made boost come on
earlier and made more power too (303kw vs 311kw) wih about 10kw more the whole way through rev range
and made it much nicer to drive

Thanks for the info.
Not really looking to go e85, as I have no idea when it's going to be readily available here, so I'll leave it out of consideration for now.
I had considered the sard 530cc injectors but then figured I may as well take it a step further just in case I ever decide to push things further down the track. I'm thinking 650cc will be the better option, should be easier to tune and idle etc.
I have no idea what pipe my manifold is intended to be made in, I'll hit Kyle up tomorrow and see what he says, I doubt fabrication has started yet, I only confirmed the order on Thursday. Basically I've made all my choices so far on his advice, ie going twinscroll, twin gates, housing size etc. So I never really questioned him on the piping.
Should be interesting to see the results anyway, based on what Kyle has told me the twinscroll turbo + twin gates should be fairly responsive, will just have to wait and see.
