Found some R34 GTR rims that have 245/45/18 tires fitted.
I'm clueless when it comes to offsets and wheel sizes etc... Anyone know if these will fit a JZX100 chaser? Will there need to be some guard mods done?

Rear guards need to be rolled, front will need a smaller tyre and possibly a roll pending on your coilovers and ride height.

i'm on 235's all round, same rim.
you'll smash the inner guards like it's going out of fashion up front, the back will need a roll as well

245/40/18 maybe.. but I think you might have trouble with 245/45 on the front, because when i tried a pair of similar offset rims with 245/45/18 the tyre hit the front bar when i turned the wheel.

Bit of a bugger... Thought it might be a nice bonus to get some tires thrown in for the same price as what I've seen GTR rims only.

I've got a set of 34 gtrs with 245/40 Mich Pilots and with guards at tread height, you definitely need lipped guards all round and have the front splash guards removed. It still rubs up front once in a while too.
I don't think a 45 profile will be a good idea.

im pretty sure it'll muck around with your rolling diameter too.

Sell the tyres, and put the cash towards new ones.
