i recently put a decat and downpipe on my jzx90 chaser,it has a hks cat back exhaust on it.when im accelorating hard in 2nd and 3rd gear the car hesitates and then keeps going.
is it hitting fuel cut and will a fuel cut defencer sort this or whats happening...
if a fuel cut defencer will sort it does anyone know what one will fit my chaser as there not listed.

Its def fuel/boost cut. Look under Supra/soarer as the type will be the same.

i read on another forum,if i fit a fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator to up the fueling it might be better than a fuel cut defender.
is this true??any input greatfull.thanks

I dont see how that will work. Yes it will give you more pressure and consistent flow but it wont make the factory fuel/boost cut any higher.

It is limited by the ECU, not by how much fuel is actually getting to your engine. FCD or aftermarket ECU is the only way to get around it.
