The importer i got the car from said the comp may have been remapped or some shit but i thought with a remap the fuel cut and speed cut would be removed instantly.

i made 300rwkw with gt35r on a trust mani with 440cc injectors, and an afc to control it at 19psi.
even did it with the dodgy, jza70 ecu ( was in a supra )

stock unopened 1j's ive seen handle power up to around 450rwkw, and not have an issue, never really seen much past this tho.

ive also seen (in person) stock ceramic twins run 22psi all day everyday hard for over 2 years without going pop.

these turbos are ridiculously underrated.
people wind the boost up on stock dumps, and they go pop (due to heat) and then spread propaganda about how these turbos cant handly much boost, allthough i personally ran 15psi for over a year without an issue on stock dumps.

250rwkw + is achievable on stock twins. I know of 2 such supras in australia who are doing this.

The worlds fastest stock turbo 1JZ runs something like an 11.1 1/4 mile so it must be pushing upwards of 450rwhp(330kw).

nah man.
car was running nos to from memory.
causing the air to run super cold, and hence the boost.
Apparently he didnt set it to that, thats just what it run.

Was a spastic setup, that i wouldnt be using, but still interesting all the same.
the fuel pressure was wound up to the shithouse too to get the 440's to flow enough fuel.
