Gday,

So i have a bog stock JZX90 MarkII. First Performance mod will probably be a CAI. Now obviously the easiest way to go about this is to chuck on an ARC box or a pod filter in place of the standard air box.

I was wondering, has anybody actually used two pods (each turbo having it's own pod filter), and just had them piped straight into the front of the turbos, rather than going through the standard system that connects to both, effectively making each turbo suck it's own air.

Would this provide any sort of gain over just having one pod filter connected to the standard intake pipe?

Is there enough space to do this set up?

cheers,
xoxo

Also you can snake a plastic/rubber tube from under the headlight to the front. Take out the headlight and you should be able to see.

Does it make a difference?
Well, it feels like it picks up a little better low rpm, but that can be something between the ears.

The sound of the two turbo's at full chat is amazing though (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Decided to just go the aftermarket panel filter route, and hack the airbox up, with some piping to the intake from further down low.

good option. you wont get the epic dose you may well desire, but you will roll in stealth mode (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
