Hey just attempting to pull the door cards off for some work, so far I've:
  • Popped all push clip things out
  • Removed 2 screws behind window switch
  • Covered screw holding handle surround
  • Covered screw where door meets dash

buuut it seems to be stuck on the door handle surround - have tried levering it off (with a fair bit of force) at either end but no luck, don't really want to break anything so does anyone know exactly how it should come off?

cheers

Edit: Nevermind found the info under JZX100 forum - much the same although 110s do not have the external plastic pins at the rear of the door.

The door handle surround is clipped onto the actual handle. It's a mongrel to get off, if you slid a small flat-head in to the upper part between the surround and the lever it pops off. I have done it a few times, Can you pm me a pic of your door card, so I can point it out to you. This had me buggered for a good hour before I fluked it. I don't actually have a jzx, but work on one for a mate, or i would show you a pic myself.

EDIT: I re red your post and realised you found it. As you were (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)
