QUOTE (jayzedex100 @ Mar 17 2010, 08:00 PM) Can people with stock 4wd height 100's stop talking about "proportion"; style and what looks good.... (IMG: style_emoticons/default/taunt.gif) BN rear bar matches the height and follows the lines of the skirts and front with the rest of the car, keeping it in proportion. Don't bother replying to my shit again, you fucking fail merchants. Oh yea, 110's... they're alright.....when made to look decent, and not kept stock. My car isn't stock or 4WD height and I still think the BN kits rear bar looks no good. The front and the side skirts look alright.. rear bar looks like shit. the problem is that the line of the bodykit stays level while the line on the car rises at the rear making the back for the car look really thick (read: wedge on wheels)

That's gonna be in proportion aye big boy? Hahaha, I fucking love forum fights. Take everything I say with a grain of salt, I ain't angry (IMG: style_emoticons/default/grouphugg.gif)

QUOTE (jayzedex100 @ Mar 20 2010, 09:22 AM) Wow, an "impossible to import" Verossa which was for sale for 25k almost a year ago. Hilarious. Out of curiosity, what is 'importable' into NZ these days? Is it based only on age? ie. not more than x years old?

It's all about emission standards, and it varies depending on the car manufacturer (some were quicker to adapt than others). The earliest cars that pass the recent emission laws are 1999 upwards, so 110's are do-able (I know of recent x100 arrivals, so they either don't enforce the law very well, or later 99-00 100's scrape past). Petrol vehicles need to pass the 2000/2002 standard, but it mainly effects smelly diesel fueled vehicles (2005 onwards for them). http://i66.photobucket.com/albums/h250/pmada/tgs_110.jpg

being the first owner of any import is an uber expensive process which i'm sure a certain someone already knows. most cars that are 'first imports' can take over a year to fully test and comply so you'd have to be super keen on whatever it was. personally i think they look like balls (no offense) and were made for fat business men... plus side is the motor though (IMG: style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
