ABOUT JZX WORLD
JZX World started life back in 2001 as plain old JZX100.com, born of the need for more information about these awesome cars. During those early years, the site was nothing more than a bunch of static pages with info collected from around the Internet and collated into something that could be easily accessed by the masses.
Not long afterwards, as more X chassis of every kind began to enter the country, the demand for information required a move to a more streamlined info sharing platform. And thus, the JZX100 Forums were born, using Invision Power Board as the back end of choice.
At this rate it didn’t take long before it was painfully clear that the JZX100 moniker alone wouldn’t be able to satisfy the demand for the entire plethora of X chassis content. After much discussion and banter in the infamous JZX shoutbox, which seems to undergo a name change every 5 minutes these days, the entire site would soon undergo a name change of it’s own and become known as the JZX World you see before you today.
With JZX World membership and site traffic increasing exponentially we soon outgrew our shared hosting provider and were on the look out for something more substantial. It was thanks to a former JZX100 owner (Kaizen) that we were able to move to a VPS setup which gave us the much needed breathing room and freedom to do as we pleased with the site.
JZX World has always been a place with a strong sense of community. Our long time members being more like good friends and family rather than just account holders. In the past, when people have sold their beloved JZXs they find themselves drawn back to JZX World for the camaraderie alone. Meanwhile, those who do sell up seem to end up coming back to the mighty X chassis, in one form or another, time after time, perhaps realizing that the grass isn’t always greener on the other side.
These days, with the boom in social media, and unlike many other “oldschool” forums, JZX World has endeavored to stay ahead of the game. We have branched out and embraced the social media phenomena with open arms, continuously working to establish and cement our presence on Facebook, Tumblr, Twitter, Flickr, Pinterest, Instagram and even YouTube.
JZX World aims to be a multinational, community driven, conglomerate, as such, our admins and mods are all pretty easy to talk to and eager to help. We strive for continuous improvement and evolution and we always welcome any constructive feedback & ideas that you may have.
